Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems and HVAC units to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary for the installation of pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid journeyperson license (red seal).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in carpentry and assembly tasks related to plumbing installations.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
